The two groups competed with each other for some time before the RAC came into being.

There may have been other national organizations in Canada but I am not aware of those details, the CRRL, CARF, and RAC are only part of my 35 years of Amateur Radio experience. It seems that here in Canada we are never happy with our national organization and someone thinks they can do better but in they end they never really do.

cheers, Graham ve3gtcAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2554001380039969960.post-60909680235025599132013-07-15T18:48:33.352+02:002013-07-15T18:48:33.352+02:00Thanks to you too for the QSO! But when I found that the Belgian Radio Amateur Society was the Royal one, I just had to include it.Sverre Holmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08306221557326542499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2554001380039969960.post-68997599322164611912013-07-15T13:01:47.054+02:002013-07-15T13:01:47.054+02:00Hi Sverre!
Thanks for the 10m QSO yesterday.
Yes ...Hi Sverre!
Thanks for the 10m QSO yesterday.

Yes we are very royal here in Belgium. HI. The national soccer association has royal in its name. And the pigeon racer's association too. Many associations have 'royal' in the official name.

It's just a name from the past. It's a bit of a special situation here right now too. Not only with the new king as of next week but with politics in general... No place for that BS in ham radio!

73/CU
Franki ON5ZO / OQ5MON5ZOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03667314542700530483noreply@blogger.com
